the zubas

Because our family is scattered all over the world, I thought I'd create a blog so that anyone who wanted to could find out what is going on with the Zuba's!

William Reynolds is Two!!!

Our sweet William turned two today. He doesn't particularly like to draw attention to himself and prefers to sing Happy Birthday to Mommy or Baby Laurel. But today was his special day. The Weltys joined us in celebrating. Last night Radu stayed up late putting together an Ikea kitchen for our little cook. Then he placed it in the boys room along with their toy pots and pans. When William woke up early this morning, he was able to make smoothies and serve us tea first thing.

Day trip to the beach

Radu took off Friday and we headed to the beach. It was a really fun trip. The boys put several hours of hard shoveling in while Radu and I relaxed in our chairs. We walked to the beach house we'll rent in August, had ice cream on the board walk, waded in the water, and ate messy hamburgers. All in all a great trip in spite of the late night ride home.

Lovely Laurel

Laurel is now almost 3 weeks old. She's growing like a Zuba baby- fast! I'm cherishing this stage- still so wobbly and small. Laurel sleeps really well, so I definitely feel like I'm able to give the boys some attention too. This is a blessing!!

with her brothers

Laurel's brothers love her very much and sometimes ask to hold her. She's usually fairly obliging if her mother is.
