Projects
Springtime means projects in the Zuba household. We're finished with the winter hibernation and ready for cleaning, planting, and fixing. Radu is also finished (I hope) with 60 hour work weeks at the office and ready for 60 hour work weeks divided up between the office and home. About a week ago, Radu fertilized, sowed, and peat-mossed the lawn. Saturday he pruned the crepe mrytle, and the holly, and took down the tall evergreen in preparation for the front porch. JT helped with much of this of course. Several nights ago as JT was getting to sleep, Radu came into the room to give him a hug. JT said, "Daddy, thank you for working with me. Thank you for having supper with me." It was one of those times we wanted to remember. Last week we repainted the addition a nice green color. JT must have said to me about 10 times including twice this morning, "Mommy, I like the pretty color you painted." Gramma came about three weeks ago and watched the boys so that I could stain the trimwork. It feels so good to get projects done!!
